Yeah maybe you're right. First time I was in high school and then the other three times I was in college...so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it.

After it's had an undeniable influence on countless genres and later films in the industry Kurosawa's SEVEN SAMURAI deserves a high ranking if not an honorable mention. One of my favorite movies of all time.

Who gives a **** what the critics think? They're paid to give out opinions, it's the easiest job in the world! None of this "let's be honest" junk because face, there is no such thing as the greatest movie ever made, it's all personal. So a better title for the thread is probably, "Greatest movie ever made that at least several thousand other people agree is the greatest movie ever made."

In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete, drawn only to be washed away . .
