Yeah, they changed it a whole lot. Originally Seymour and Audry were also killed and devoured by Audrey II who then goes on a rampage to conquer the world. But test audiences absolutely hated that ending and so it was reshot with the happier ending.

On the whole I think musicals are quite good but Sweeney Todd is by far the best musical I've ever seen. It's one of my many many favourite films. It's fantastic. I also would like to see Mamma Mia but haven't had the chance

Now I'm curious about Sweeny Todd. I saw the trailer of Mama Mia this weekend. It's not yet showing until September here. Seems like a good movie.

Big fan of Musicals. I'm a man of the clasics, The Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls with Frank Sinatra, I'm not sure if you could call it a Musical, but Mary Poppins is another classic of mine. I remember watching Sweeny Todd, and being absolutley freaked out by it. It wasn't scary it was just the lyrics to the song that were really over the top ,and I remember reading the story of Sweeny Todd and the words just didn't fit well into it at all.

I've loved SWEENEY TODD ever since seeing the stage version with Angela landsbury years ago. I really don't care for or like stage/theater productions but that was a great one. The movie follows that production very closely and I really like Helena Bonham Carter.

I'm a huge Abba fan and I want to see "Mamma Mia" also. But when my wife and I went to see "Tropic Thunder" I spoke to some people who had seen it and said it was absolutely horrible so I may wait for the DVD.

I hate musicals. hate hate hate them.

My absolute least favorite genre. I'd sooner watch a Western.

I went to Mama Mia the musical when I was in London a few years ago and it was awesome. The movie just doesn't look that good. I don't know if I want to see it.

Yeah, I guess I'll just have to wait for its DVD version unless I get really good movie reviews.

You just haven't found a musical that you like yet. Believe it or not I used to hate musicals myself until I saw "Guys And Dolls"
