The first Hellboy sucked, it was nothing more than a romance with a touch of action; the second looks better.

The Pirate Queen! (Take that Elizabeth Swan!)

Which popular movies failed to wow you?

Agreed. Way too long and if I had to sit through one more "Poor, poor Mr. Frodo" scene I'd have torn the damn screen to pieces. The best thing about having LORD OF THE RINGS on DVD is that I can fastforward through those scenes.

I forgot to mention LOTR. Almost as bad as sitting through Titanic. Sorry that movie could be cut down to the last 30 min and I would be happy with that.
Clerks 2 movie review of the LOTR Trilogy is the best..Have a look.

Agreed. CLERKS II is a hilarious movie, period and it's worth watching it just for that scene.

hahaha Padd I'm not gonna neg you for not liking Star Wars,
My list includes the likes of:
The Godfather Series
Apollo 13, maybe its just because I've been forced to see it a million times.
Anything with Will Ferrell lately; Anchorman, Semi-Pro, Bewitched, etc. all were just muh if you ask me.
There are more but I'm drawing a blank after thinking about the Godfather.

Stranger than Fiction was alright, but not spectacular. I saw that expecting it to be another one of his mindless flicks but left with a "meh...not so bad" kinda feeling about it.
but yeah, I dunno why he is able to keep on dishing out the garbage he has been. Even worse than him is his sidekick guy.... the one that played in that "Walk Hard/Dewey Cox" movie. Talk about a water head in a spot light. What ever happened to the good comedians like Robin Williams and Leslie Nielsen?
