I saw Top Gun the other day, it's one of my favorite movies, I just love the story. Tom Cruise does and incredible job in this movie in my opinion and, I can watch this movie over and over.

I just had a scary movie night.
We watched 'Silent Hill', 'Pulse', 'Seven', 'Gothika', 'White Noise' and 'The grudge'.
I liked Gothika... the others, not so great!

I didn't like Gothika at all, Pulse is ok (I've only seen the Japanese version though) and Se7en is great.
Last night I had some friends over and we rented the stupidest sounding film we could find..... Dragon Wars! Absolutely awful! The thing that sold it to me was the quote on the dvd box by the new york times "It's impossible to not be entertained!". "Impossible"..... yeah right.

Really? I thought It was really clever! Pulse I just found really odd (plus we somehow managed to start it 50 minutes in without noticing and watching the end first :S), and se7en was good just pretty disturbing!! I like to be able to sleep at night...
Hmm... 'Dragon Wars' - think you should of seen the awfulness coming :P

Yup, purely because I found Silent Hill really disgusting (and probably cause I had my face behind a pillow half the time), but just the things in it and the siren... god I hated that siren.

I was hoping it would be awful in a funny way and it was kind of... I think the most misleading thing is that theres barely any dragons in it, it's mainly about massive snakes....

Ever seen Leprechaun? I think that does the whole awful but funny thing pretty well! Although the wee thing is pretty horrific...
