I dunno if you could call his voice unique? I reckon he sounds alot like Paul Banks (Interpol), and musically they sound very similiar too.

I have another one called End of the World by Skeeter Davis. It's a 60's song that I've loved ever since I heard it in Girl, Interrupted. The melody is sweet, simple and weaves together easily and the lyrics are, too. I love it.

Another one of my favorites is Fix You by Coldplay. So many people say this song is too slow, but I think it's perfect, especially the climax part with no singing in the middle of it. They added the faint singing to that section of the song and I found it beautiful, almost like an archangel was doing all the vocals at that point.

Thursday - War All The Time, that song could actually reduce me to tears every time I hear it.
