I agree that the man was suffering, he had so many problems in his life. But I still rather him being alive, call me selfish, but that's how I felt.

I thought his comeback would be simply amazing, just like MJ usually does it.

Now, obviously I'm not saying that everyone went through life with the fame of Michael Jackson, but there are God knows how many people in the world who have had it just as bad as MJ in their childhood, some even worse, who have turned out better. So no, you're wrong. Having a bad childhood isn't guaranteed to make someone go nutso.

His dad use to beat him up if he screwed up a dance move.
He use to wake him up at 2am to practice his dancing his singing
He didn't allow Michael to do anything else but practice, practice and practice.

There's so many more things that Joe Jackson did to his son during his childhood, it's well documented.

Not saying he's the only one that as been treated by his parents like he has, but he had it rough, and it's one of the reasons why he was so weird.

Yes, Michael Jackson had vitiligo. African descendants have this condition (maybe other races, too) which causes large splotches of unpigmented skin in random patterns and places on one's body.

Yes, I do know what happened during his childhood. But that doesn't make me any more sympathetic to him because I know what that's like, to have an abusive parental figure. Yet I and countless other people seem to manage just fine despite that.

I knew about the skin 'whitening' disease. But that didn't make him white - plastic surgery did that, obviously.

So Michael Jackson is the only person to get many plastic surgery on their face? I don't think so, there's stars that have it done way more times then he has. The disease is what that turned him into a white person, not the plastic surgery. But I doubt you'll believe me, so it's not worth debating over it.

From what I understand of it, yes. He had plastic surgery to reshape his bone structure on his face (his chin, his nose, etc), as well as a facelift of some sort to make him white.

That's what I understood about it. If I'm wrong, meh. But that's what I've known about it since forever.

But what I mean is this, how did he turn white on his chest, arms, legs and other parts of his body? I could agree with you if it was only his face, but he was white all over his body, which would explain the disease he had.

Plastic surgery isn't limited to the facial area. It would require extensive surgery time, and a lot of operations, but it could be done, I would imagine.

I read in an article which had bits taken from an MJ interview, in which he was talking about "why he looked like he did and why he hated his dad - because he (his dad) passed him the gene, and made him think he was ugly, giving him the 'obsession to be white'".

Just wanted to add a little more about the punishment his dad gave him.-Use to take a cow bell and beat the crap out of him-Use to pick him up by his shirt and slam him through the wallNow I know he's not the only kid to every get "punished" like this, but I am sure that effected him on many different levels.

Without a doubt, BR. I believe all of his problems came from his dad and anyone that has to deal with that amount of abuse and goes on to do great things is a hero in my eyes.
