Who here is a fan of Steve Jablonsky? He has done some of the best movie soundtracks in the past 10 years if you ask me.

Some of my favorites from him lately are:

The Island
Transformers 1 & 2

(Both Michael Bay movies. Obviously they have a good thing going here.)

Who here either has these soundtracks or at least enjoys the music he writes? He's one of the best if you ask me, especially at creating really epic music.

I've been listening to the Transformers soundtracks over the past few days and seriously this is some of the best orchestra work I've ever heard. So much emotion and just very powerful. I'm actually surprised because I thought the first movie was alright and never actually saw the second one but I love the music. I would actually make the case that this is one of the exceptions where the soundtracks are actually far better than the movies themselves.

Generally I have to really like a movie to get into the music but this is one of the exceptions for me.
