You should play cello. But violin is cool too. Stringed instruments are badass.

I've been playing the violin since the summer of fourth grade. I'm halfway decent. I can't do any of that Beethoven stuff, but I'm in the middle orchestra and considered good in there.

I just got a cheap electric guitar a couple days ago.
Can't say I really 'play' the guitar though.

I never noticed this topic. XD
My main instrument is the bassoon. I've only been playing since November of 2006, but I've spent a lot of time practicing it, and I enjoy it so much more than anything else! I've already pretty much surpassed my skill level with anything else.
Other than that, there's the alto saxophone, which I also like a lot. I don't have one that works, though, and that's a problem. -_- I've also played the clarinet and trumpet. I started the clarinet back in February of 2005 or so, but I never got into it as much as I had hoped, and my skill level on it is very low. XD The trumpet I started back in 2000 or so... (sixth grade.) It was an instrument I picked up just to be in the marching band, and I never cared for it, and I was never really any good at it.
Lastly there's the piano. I just play it for college. I'm not a big fan.
After college is done, bassoon and saxophone (whenever I can afford one!) are the only instruments I'll be sticking with. I've tried even more than those listed above, and these are the only two that have made me happy playing them... bassoon especially.

I'm teaching myself to play the banjo Scruggs style.I can play guitar and keyboards. Can't read music and couldn't be bothered to learn (left school 32 years ago) I reckon everyone should learn to play an instrument of some sort.

I've been playing the piano since I was 10, so 16 years. I love it and can learn anything you put in front of me if you give me enough time. Playing piano is a huge stress reliever for me and my mom said she could always tell my mood as a teenager by the song I chose to play and how loud I played it. Unfortunately, I don't have my own piano so I haven't been able to play consistently for the last 8 years (since moving out of my parents) but hopefully will be able to change that and get my own piano in the next couple years. Why do they have to be so dang expensive?

The Grow Your Own 1Up Mushroom does not come with any soil. You need to provide your own. It can be found on the ground, generally outdoors. - ThinkGeek

I've been playing piano since I was eight, and I'm still crap- I'm working for [UK] grade 4. Is anyone else with Trinity Guildhall?
I love it, though, and I love how it sounds. I wouldn't want to play any other instrument.
I also tried to teach myself [acoustic] guitar. That was...well, let's just say that it didn't work out =$
It's now covered in dust in a corner of my room, lol.

I've been playing the clarinet since I was about 8 or 9 and I've been teaching myself the guitar for about 2 and a half years - seems to be going ok at the moment.
