Is it just me or are the Akatsuki losing thier mysterious flare that they used to have, being all powerful and godlike. But now some get thier asses handed to them by the Konoha 11. I understand they're some pretty gifted shinobi, but c'mon! It's like during the timeskip from Naruto to Naruto Shippuden all the characters rose up to Jonin level or something. If it really is that easy to become that powerful, how come Tsunade can't just beat the living **** out of one of them?

It's quite simple really.

Main characters can not just simply lose, they must always win no matter how many times they get their butts kicked >.>;


Basically alot of shows are always like that, haven't you noticed? Super powered villians vs. punky heros and the hero's win.


That and I so have to go back to watching Naruto again >.>; Damn you school and your evil work!

I think Jiraya is a dead man, he is facing pain the atkatsuki leader and there is no way he is going to beat him because that would be crappy if he did

I agree on the mysterious comment. Most all of the Akasuki have been revealed so we now know who they're which is why they ain't as mysterious. I’m also tired of them getting all hyped up and then dying easily. I guess this is the life of a Naruto fan. Also I wouldn't mind J-man dying it's better then all of the cliché crap.

If J-man died then Kakashi would be a very, very, VERY sad man.


Plus it would make fans like me mad since like they could of picked a more less important character to be killed off, like another Haku and Zabuza couple or something that only gets to be seen in a handful of shows but still be selectible in the games >.>;

I've seen it before. All of the Akatsuki that have died, in my opinion, weren't that important to the story, so I never expected them to last long anyway. However, all of the ones that are left, excluding Kisame and maybe Zetsu, are all important to the overall story. So, I think what we're going to have, starting with Jiraiya's defeat a couple of weeks ago, is a part in the story where the main characters finally start getting their asses-whooped. Sasuke is next on the list.

Is this the same as the Hokagay? Or is this a whole other rank?

The Akatsuki are a group of supposedly insanely powerful ninja who abandoned their village and committed some huge crime. They band together then split up in groups of two, all of them with uniform black cloaks with red clouds on them. Alot of them don't have an official rank, but are usually classified as S-rank ninja around hokage or sannin level.

But in Naruto:Shippuden the akatsuki suddenly start getting their asses kicked by the good guys, I was like WTF was that?! That's it?! Big powerful strong group and one of their members can't even defeat Sakura and an old lady?!!? They're losing they're "uber-ness" and now the only ones who are still super strong are the important Akatsuki that are alive.
