Come to think of it, I'd prefer Sasuke for the anime and Naruto for the manga. In the manga, Naruto's much more entertaining and you can skip over the speeches. Sasuke would be boring unless he was fighting.

"oooh my brother killed my family" why doesn't sasuke man up?
Naruto never met his family or anything and he's not a complete dick to everyone he meets. Naruto is also a much harder worker then Sasuke, having to work his **** off to achieve anything.

I totally agree with you. That's one of the big reasons I don't like him. He acts like he's the only one that has gone through "tough times" when in reality most of the characters in the Naruto universe have gone through something similar.

Indeed I dont really like sasuke at all but man the fight between him and itachi was awesome I have to admit that much.
