No way the first was a coincidence. The second one maybe, and that's a huge maybe. Like that might be a common routine thing. But the first is completely IDENTICAL frame for frame.

Well supposedly every group in naruto has supposed to have gotten their style of fighting from other styles which is could be a style thing who knows maybe it is just similar fighting styles

Or they coulda been sitting around and been like "hay, I don't have an original idea for this fight scene, lets watch a kung fu movie and go with that"

I agree with Henskie. I think the first was a coincidence. And the 2nd one was on purpose. It's probably a pretty common technique in Japan.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had a template for fight scenes. It'd be such a pain to come up with new fight sequences every single time.
