Week 7 Projections Preview

Our first matchup this week features NYR vs. Baronking in a very close match as far as projections go. Seperated currently by only 1.1 projected points these two teams have only 2 players playing on monday and both are for BK. Sitting second to last NYR has had a dissapointing time pulling his team together putting him on a three game losing streak in a 1-5 overall record. BK is coming out of a 2 game losing streak with a .500 overall record. An interesting oddity about this matchup slots BK and NYR 1 point away from eachother in the overall points standings. BK at #5 with 918 points and NYR at #6 with 917 points. Dont let the records of these two teams fool you, this matchup should end up a real shootout.

Up next we have Icegoat vs. Jkidd. After a huge Week 6 for both of these teams are flying high into week 7. Jkidd proved last week that our previously undefeated leader could be beaten. And he did so with fashion, pulling away by a clean 20 points to put Lloyd down for his first loss. However that is not the only story from week 7, Icegoat coming out of what might be the biggest comeback we've seen put an overconfident opponent to the test with a huge defensive effort on monday to close a near 30 point difference and take the win with a last minute of the game tackle. However that may be the only thing going for Icegoat this season considering he is sitting dead last in the points standings trailing the nearest opponent by 43 points and the leader by 245 points! Jkidd is currently on a 2 game winning streak and will look to take advantage of icegoats low scoring offense in week 7. Hopefully this one doesnt get to out of hand.

The third match covered here will put 2 of our top overall points leaders against eachother. Pesadillamal vs. Avoidlloyd. This matchup although very unbalanced in the projected points has some real powerful pecking order connotations to it. Pesa has made his claim previously that he will make a huge statement in the standings. Holding true to his promise Pesa is now on a 3 game winning streak and has been our top scorer every week since week 4 pulling in 564 points alone just in that three week span. Although dont get to excited just yet, Lloyd is coming back from a huge disadvantage in week 6 where near half of his team went on a bye week. Down only his top tight end in week 7, Lloyd looks to bring that tough streak of his back on track.

Following suit just like he has pretty much every week since week 1, this matchup features Flyersenforcer vs. Wes McSnipes. FE has been a pain in my butt since week 1, he always seems to be the only team that waits until the last second to fill the Bye week holes in his roster making predicting this game about as irritating as ever. None the less, dont let him surprise you. With a 3-3 record he currently sits #2 on the points standings just 35 points behind our leader breaking a losing streak in week 6 FE will face Wes who looks to be about even with FE. Wes' team is quite balanced, his defense and offense are right around 70 points apiece so there really isnt much to point out that realy seperates these two. Looks like we'll just have to wait and see.

Finally in the last matchup of the week we have Mr. Pink vs. Wellzy. So far in the overall points standings 64 points seperate these two in favor of Wellzy. At 4-2 Wellzy will be on a rampage to bring his winning streak to 3. In the words of Pesa, A perplexed pink will be coming out of a huge dissapointing loss from week 6. With the game in the bag a defensive player ripped the W right out of his hands. This week may only add to the frustration as Wellzy has relied on his defense to pull him out of a couple tight spots in the past weeks. Currently leading Pinks defense by 7.61 projected points, Pink will be relying on the big performance from his offense who is rated just under 90 points with Manning back from a Bye week. Another close matchup for Mr. Pink in week 7 brings hopes to put life back into the 1-5 record he currently sits at.
