Question Pokemon game question.

My boyfriend and I are having a disagreement and I was wondering if anyone might be of some help in finding some answers.

He thinks that Nintendo came out with a Pokemon game for the N64 that was identical to the Red/Blue Versions for game boy. He swears he used to play this game all the time on N64.

I have never heard of such a game and when my knowledge fails me I look it up online and none of the N64 Pokemon games that I have found are what he is talking about. Not Stadium/Stadium 2, Snap, Hey you pikachu, or SSB. Or even that Pokemon puzzle thing.

I thought that maybe he was playing Red/Blue version for the game boy in an adapter cartridge for the N64, but he swears he's not and NOW a friend of ours "knows what he's talking about" and says he used to play it too.

Does such a game exist?

Who's crazy?

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is not the place to ask.

As far as I know no such game exists, I mean out of the ones you listed Stadium had a similar fighting style but there wasn't any RPG elements. I could be wrong but I'm fairly confident that game never existed.

No such game ever existed. He is either lying, or was lied to.

there is no 'True' pokemon game for the 64. You used the GB paks in stadium, but otherwise, he is either dreaming, or on some pretty good stuff

Yeah, the game is completely made up. The only thing that makes it "exactly" like Pokemon Red/Blue would be stadium, but that only focuses on the battles.

ty for all the responses. i figured that was the case but he seemed convinced he had played such a game. it must've been red/blue in an adapter cartridge.

Nope, doesn't exist.

Closest is Stadium, but it can't be.
