I have been playing this daily since getting it a couple months ago and its pretty decent. Anyone else have it? Thoughts? Friend Codes?

I have Pearl version and i won't tell you my friend code,Great game but it gets boring

i don't think it gets boring as it gets tedious. i play it daily but its mainly to catch swarm pokemon, check on berry plants and do some training. it'd been better for me had i not offed by emerald and fire red to a friend a few years ago

Yeah, it did get pretty tedious as time went on. Then again, I'm the kind of guy who plays games like Dynasty Warriors, so tedious isn't always a problem for me.

I hear ya Cons. Whats funny is I'm playing it more because I want to try to get as many of the different types as I can. Plus I found a site, Serebii.net [http://www.serebii.net], that has tons of info on the game. If been hunting the rare pokemon until I can get my emerald back from my friend to restart and then bring over to Pearl.

It is a fun game and I agree that some of the things can get tedious. But then again, all the pokemon games had tedious factors. Such as when you're in a hurry and wild pokemon keep showing up every time you take a step.

One of my few complaints is that I wish the underground map showed the location of the guys who sell the spheres to.

That's the idea of Wi-Fi.

You can battle and trade via the internet, provided you have a source to link up to, usually a wireless router. You can also use the USB connector that you can purchase if you do not have a router.

The GTS in the game allows you to trade with anyone who is connected, and the Battle Tower in-game provides teams of pokemon from around the world for you to battle as well.

You can also battle people you have registered their friend codes with over Wi-Fi, whether they are in Japan or Europe or North America. Trades are also possible via this method.

The ability to trade across the world is pretty cool, except everyone on there only wants to trade if the pokemon they are receiving is level 50 and above. It makes trading a little difficult.
