yeah I think that the tempered sword is the master sword, because the guys had to work on it.

But of course that's definitely not what I meant, one of my friends who plays the game told me that there is one more sword in the game, but he won't tell me where it is since eh doesn't' want to help me in the game at all, but I guess that that's good.

The master sword should be the best sword in Zelda games, I know that it's the best in Twilight Princess and Wind waker, but of course the master sword musta be used to deliver the final blow to ganon in Ocarina Of time.

Speaking of Ocarina Of Time, I'm probably going to be there soon since it's the next one on the list after A Link To The Past.

Well i just finished up the third dungeon in the dark world.

Now i have finished all 4 of the first dungeons in the dark world in this order 1,2,4,3.

I never expected to have to ask any questions on this game whatsoever but I need to.

But now I'm stuck, I know where the 5th dungeon is, but I can't figure out how to get past the big barrier of ice that stands in my way.

I have tried the fire and ice rod, the magic hammer, and the quake and bombos medallions.

And where do I find the flute.

yeah and it's making a big problem for me especially in those enemy packed rooms that you have to move around a lot in.

I don't think there are any tricks or anything. I don't remember that part being THAT hard.

I think that i might try using the bombos medallion though it uses almost all of my magic power, I am better at Zelda 2 so I guess that this can be expected, after A Link To The Past is over the rest of the quest will be a breeze.

One of my friends told me how to "halve" my magic meter as he put it, so I am also going to do this.

I'll bet that by now a lot of people thought that I gave up on my Zelda quest, but I most definitely did not, last night I beat A Link To The Past, I must say that the final few levels really challenged me, more so than any dungeon in any zelda game ever except for the great palace in Zelda 2.

my quest is progressing well i think.

so far I have beaten 3 games.

The Legend Of Zelda
Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link
A Link To The Past

now i think that it's time for something that I have long waited to do.

Yes that's right, it's time for the 3 heart challenge on ocarina of time.

here are my basic rules for the 3 heart challenge

1. no fairies
2. no potions/milk
3. no heart containers (heart pieces are okay as long as I don't complete a heart)
4. fairy fountains are allowed (as long as no fairies are caught)
5. all items are allowed (except for what I already banned of course)

I'll be doing this on the good old old Nintendo 64 (with the gold cartridge) since I don't like playing this game on gamecube.

The 3 heart challenge is a lot of fun. It's not all that hard, but there are a few tricky parts.

well I am well into the 3 heart challenge by now.

I have not died yet and I have not used any faries/milk/potions

so far it's not all that hard.

I jsut finished up inside jabu-jabu's belly it didn't even phase me.

I just have a few things left to do before I turn into an adult such as getting eponas song and the bottle that comes with milk but I'm not going to use the milk so don't worry about that.

I have noticed that the game takes a lot less time when you aren't going for a whole bunch of heart containers and stuff like that.

alright, time for an update...

I am about half way through the forest temple and doing quite well, I am yet to die so far.

I have epona and biggorons sword.

I would say that I am doing pretty well right now, I finished the ice cavern and am completely ready to enter any of the first 3 temples since I have all of the items that i need to enter and do any of the temples.

I decided to get biggorons sword before the forest temple just because I always have after I found out that it was possible it makes soem stuff bit easier.

all of the stalfos that you have to fight in the forest temple almost killed me on several different occasions, the only downside to biggorons sword is the fact that you don't get to have a shield but you attack power is doubled.

so far the 3 heart challenge is a lot easier than I woudl have expected it to be, I wonder how hard the shadow temple will be, I am probably going to die on bongo bongo or something dumb like that.

I'm pretty sure I skipped Biggoron's sword. It makes it so much easier that I thought it would be cheating.
