Well it's now been 10 years since nintendo has released a good donkey kong game, this is really unfortunate since DK (many of you know) in my opinion is one of the best game series ever but nintendo ruined it.



There are 5 good DK games ever released

DK arcade
Donkey kong Country
Donkey Kong country 2 Diddy's Kong Quest
Donkey Kong Country 3 Dixie kongs double trouble
Donkey Kong 64 (the one and only good 3-D DK game)


Then after that they pretty much ruined it and did things like these games

Donkey Konga
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
Donkey Kong vs. Mario

These games are just pathetic.



Nintendo needs to work on making a good donkey kong game, I know that they are capable of doing it so they should.

They could've done something great like RARE did with Banjo-Kazooie for N64. That turned out to be one of the best action/adventure games for that system. Nintendo could learn a thing or two.

Y'know that if they create one now that it'll be in 3D. There is no way in heck they would consider going back to 2D. Sucks to since I consider the SNES DK games the best of the series. 3D just seems to mess the game up and makes it less difficult.

I don't think that the DK arcade would really be considered a good Mario game.

Hold up, I haven't played it, but what's wrong with Mario vs Donkey Kong?

It's a call back to a great Game Boy game and tries to bring something new to the arcade version.

Uhmm. are you serious?

It's called Donkey Kong 64 and I would consider that to be the single best game ever released.

So, wait...you want me to judge a game simply on an intro and the attract mode?

Er, no. I'm going to actually have to play the game before passing judgement.

I have played the game and the gameplay shots in that video are pretty much it, there's nothing about that game that is awesome.

Nintendo should seriously consider making a new platform Donkey Kong game. It would be a whole lot better than Jungle Beat or Donkey Konga and the Wii could really use the platformer support.

I'd say Donkey Konga and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat are good, and I haven't played too much Mario vs. Donkey Kong. I'd say Jungle Beat is just fine as a platformer.

The NEW Sper Mario Bros was a great game on the DS. I throw back to the original with some new gadgets and a much higher difficulty (in my opinion). Perhaps a title called The NEW Donkey Kong, where the layout is similar to the original, but with new stuff being thrown at you, maybe a power up or two.
