Well I'm 15 and I think that nintendo has progressively made Zelda games easier (with the exception of twilight princess and maybe Majora's mask).

Majora's mask is debatable whether or not it's easy.

I think that Ocarina of time was awesome but way too easy but I guess that happens after you've played it all the way through several times.

What I'd like to see is a Zelda game made for Wii that is very similar to Ocarina of time but it's so ridiculously hard that you almost can't finish the game, I love challenging games, it's why I like DK64 so much I guess, that game is very challenging to finish.

This one right here is when I don't have to do it, which leaves nothing else but the one. No I don't think so. Not there. That's one of my biggest complaints with what Nintendo has done with Zelda. They're targeting the younger gamers making the games easier and more kid-friendly, yet the original Zelda fans who made the series what it is today are all much older.

Majora's Mask definitely wasn't easy. I'd say it's the hardest Zelda game since A Link to the Past. Other than that, all the new ones have been really easy.

The games have definitely been getting easier. Nintendo needs to change up the formula somewhat. The first thing to do is get rid of that "it has a single eye, that's the weakness" thing. They've been using that since Zelda 1, so it's gotten really old.

This isn't just true with Zelda games though. Nintendo has been making all of their games easier lately. I don't understand what's so wrong about making a game that's too hard for kids to beat 100%. Let them have their fun but in the end it's the people who have been with them since the 80's who want to play games that haven't been dumbed down. I want an impossibly hard Nintendo game again.

I did think of asking you to join my little scheme, but somehow I knew, 007's loyalty was always to the mission, never to his friends. ~006

That's one thing I enjoy about the Metroid series. The games are always pretty challenging, even on normal difficulty. The hard modes are ridiculous. But in general, Nintendo has been making their games easier and easier over the years. They care too much about appealing to families and casual gamers.

There's an idea. None of the Zelda games have difficulty settings. If they added that, it would help somewhat. Maybe the puzzles could even change on the higher settings.

Bosses in Zelda can be hard if you don't know how to attack the weakpoint.

But they always make it so easy to discover that weak point, let's take almost every boss in Windwaker as an example, there was always some sort of really revealing hint or they just right out told you what it was whether it was somebody talking to you through the stone or zooming in on something on the ceiling, or even when fighting Ganon in the end princess Zelda basically told you exactly what to do.

I like zelda games that you have to figure out for yourself a little bit. Especially when it comes to bosses.

Zelda bosses have never been "tough" so to say. I actually think the games are quite overrated. I think they're great games, but not because the gameplay is revolutionary or that the characters are memorable (don't get me wrong, a few are) but it's that odd quirky charm that makes it so much fun.
