pokemon isn't a nintendo made game its distributed by nintendo. i'd say its close but considering gaming has really taken off in the last ten years as an acceptable past time that i'd say the Smash Brothers would take the win.

Wait, you rag on pokemon as a nintendo game for some arbitrary reason, then say smash bros., a game that falls under the same accusation?

Pokemon is a nintendo owned franchise.

And red/blue sold more copies than any non-bundled nintendo game, more than any non-bundled game actually.

Mal pokemon is made by game freak and distributed by nintendo. i believe SB is a nintendo made and distributed game.

No, smash bros. is a HAL Laboratory game (Well, Brawl was by Sora). Both Smash Bros. and Pokemon are Second Party games.

Both franchises are owned by Nintendo, they are still Nintendo Games.

ok, thanks for the clarity Mal. i believe this thread was in question of nintendo made and distributed games. to which i'd vote Super Mario 3.

Then he wouldn't have listed GoldenEye 007 as an option, which was developed by Rare, a second party Nintendo developer at the time.

dDave listed Super Mario Bros, Super Mario 64, and Legend of Zelda in the first post so i'm going on the idea that its nintendo made and distributed games.

it's not just games developed by nintendo itself.

On top of the previously mentioned pokemon and Smash Bros.
