Looking forward to the cycling events (particularly the road race) and the footie cup. And well, every other event where my country could score a medal.

Are they going to be having that ribbon twirling contest during these Olympics or are they saving that for winter? Hah, I dunno, I just find that event silly.

Is anyone watching the opening ceremonies? I hauled a tv in my room so I could watch. I'd say it's pretty amazing so far and the stadium is incredible.
And yes, I love watching the Olympics, especially track & field. |

That was the best firework display I have ever seen. They nailed the opening ceremony, it was sensational.

Leave it to China to outdo everyone else in style and class when it comes to celebrations. That said the ceremony was nothing short of awesome.
