The volleyball was the most interesting sport played I've seen....for obvious reasons.

Bah, For the first time in my life, I can watch whatever I want because I don't have 4 other people hogging the TV. I'm making the most of it by watching the Olympics for the first time! I liked the ceremony, especially the parts with the kids. The sphere was cool and the venues are awesome. Of course Mario keeps saying they did it better... he is Greek... lol. Anyway, I'm pretty much watching everything but I can't figure out the schedules =/ They say one thing but really it's something else playing... Go figure. Ah well. So far I watched: soccer, volleyball, boxing, swimming, cycling, and the men's gymnastics. I hope to see more gymnastics, swimming, soccer, and equestrian (?) events.

Phelps won his first gold pretty impressively, breaking his own world record. He might be the best Olympic athlete ever. Crazy.

He won the gold? Cool. Congrats.

I liked the cycling event yesterday where the guy from Spain won. It was a tight race with about 6 cyclist nearing the end and somehow he charged forward and won it.

That relay was ****ing amazing. I was screaming so loud at the end. It's moments like that that make swimming my favorite Olympic sport.
