Why are you always moaning and looking at the negative, you should sit back and enjoy the sport.

They won the gold medal which to some people is just as big as the world cup, winning a gold medal at the olympics is a massive honour for any sportsman.

Speaking of Diego, he was there (of course) and cameras showed him during the game. I actually got to watch part of the second half of game (for the others I just saw the goals).

Well it shouldn't mean much for football as most powerhouse country's are not even there to compete and country's do not even send their best players.

I agree with Emo. If it's not Italy winning, you're always trying to find a way to diminish the other team's accomplishment.

nah, I'm just like that.. if my team doesn't win I get pissed.. I get a little proud for them putting up a good fight, but I still get pissed because face it... during Euro 2008 I got so many people who had so much fun teasing me after I spent 2 years telling them we'd win the Euro too. And it's not funny because my neighbours are Spanish LOL.

I was born in Canada, raised here, live here, but my father was born and raised in Italy, and his side of the family is all Italian. and my mother was French-Canadian, though there is quite a few Italians on that side also. Most of my friends are 2nd generation Italians who were born here as well.

I admit I have to much pride to swallow when it comes to Italy.

My next door neighbours are 1 of the few Spanish people in the city and the people who live in the apartment above me are Argentine so now I said to my neighbour when i saw him "We have Euro Cup, World Cup and Olympic Gold"
