I consider Lithuania over Argentina an upset, but there isn't a huge difference in talent so it doesn't surprise me that much.

I'm not saying it's a huge upset, I am just saying it is an upset. Before the game started everyone expected the Argentina team to beat Lithuania. Which means its an upset when they didn't. Im not saying the Lithuanians arent a talented team, they have lots of good players. But when you compare both teams Argentina should of won the game. Which means it's an upset.

That's where I don't agree with you or anyone who said that. I didn't think Argentina SHOULD have won the game. They could have sure, but I didn't think they were sure to win.

Big game tommorow morning. The Americans will take on Greece at 8pm Eastern Time.

The Americans will try to get revenge on the Greeks National team for beating them back in 2006 101-95.

It should be a good game, but I believe the Americans have a big chip on there shoulder, and every player that played on that team that got beaten by Greece have some pay back to give to the Greeks.

I believe this is going to be a blow out. The Americans will win at least by 25 points if not more.

USA dominated Greece, winning 92-69. I woke up early and watched the first half. They got off to a slow start, but really turned it on in the second quarter, building something like an 18 point halftime lead. They played some really tight defense, getting a ton of steals which lead to fast breaks. The alley oop from D-Wade to Kobe was sick. Their biggest weakness seems to be their mid-range/long range shooting. They did knock down a few threes, but they also bricked a lot of open jumpers. Most of the scoring came from layups and dunks.

I think Spain is next, right?

Like Echoes mentioned the Americans were off to a slow start, but when the second quarter started, they slowly took over the game. They dominated the game in almost every way.

I was really impress by there defense, they didn't give the Greek players many open shots. They rebounded well, and they dominated the paint. They still need to hit those jumpers though. Hopefully they can start making them soon.

The game was filled with excitement, there was a lot of dunks, and I agree with you Echoes the alley oop was amazing.

I think the player of the game was Chris Bosh, he played well on both ends, and when his teammates missed a shot, he did everything to try to get the offensive rebound.

The only think that I dislike about the game, was that there was way to many fouls called, especially early on. I know the reffing is different in International play. But you got to let this guys play a bit more. There was some horrible calls.

Yes Echoes Spain is next on Saturday.

Another dominating performance. I only watched the first half again since that was all that was necessary. If they continue to play stifling defense and knock down threes, there's no other team that can compete. Dwyane Wade and Lebron James are really playing well.

I couldnt watch the game because it wasn't televised, but this was just a massacre. The United States dominated every aspect of the game. This team is unstoppable in my opinion. There getting better and better every time. I dont see this team losing any games. Not only there great offensively, but there playing great defense.

They just destroyed one of the best teams in the tournament.

I'm not surprise, I knew this USA team was unbeatable. There just getting better and better.

They just destroyed Germany by almost 50 points. I didn't see the game, but I heard that they just man-handled them in every possible way.

Up next is Austrilia in the Quarterfinals. This has to be an easy game for the U.S after destroying all other countries.
