I thought the Taekwondo athlete who kicked the referee was a particular low point, that defeats everything that the Olympics represents.

I must admit though I momentarilly found it rather funny.

Highs:
- Decent cycling coverage
- Swimming, Phelps
- Track & Field
- Opening/Closing ceremonies

Low:
- Protest
- The crazed Chinese man who killed the America before killing himself.
- NBC not showing and giving equal time to each event.

I'm not really looking forward to London. I was interested in this Olympics mainly due to how the Chinese would host it. They did a great job and I was quite impressed.

On TV? I thought the coverage was pretty lame. They only showed about 10-15 minutes of the men's road race, which really took over 6 hours. Obviously not many people want to watch a whole 6 hour race, but they could have at least shown a couple hours like they did for the marathons and race walking. I didn't see ANY of the men's time trial on TV. Luckily I was able to watch both the road race and time trial live over the internet.
