I guess I'll have to plan another Chicago trip in 2012. The building looks a bit funny though, like a gigantic alien snake that came from the ground.

I went to the John Hancock Center last time (fifth tallest bldg in the US). I felt it swayed a bit sometimes when you're on the top floors. Or it just could've been my vertigo.

Beautiful drafts, both the Freedom Tower and the one in Chicago. I'd love to see them one day.

So let's keep the fingers crossed everything works out like planned ... would be horrible if a little nuclear war with Russia would get in the way.

Also, I don't think anybody could direct planes again into large buildings in America. I'm sure there is air defense ready by now. *IF* anything happens of the like, it will more likely be a nuclear bomb leveling the entirely city, I think.
