I disagree. Kofi has been proving himself as a phenomenal athlete on ECW for a while now. Longer than Carlito had proven himself before he beat Cena for the US title in his first ever match. This takes a prestigious title and uses it to add prestige to a future main eventer.

Another interesting thing was that Wikipedia said there was a dark match between MVP and Jeff Hardy; with Jeff Hardy winning. Hm. I so hope this becomes a feud between the two. I would love to see them instead of Matt vs MVP.

Well, I don't see Kofi as a future main eventer. YET. And he has no place holding that title. A good champion right now? Carlito.

I honestly dont think Kofi has proven anything yet either. He's been on ECW for what, 6 months? I just made that number up but the point being he hasn't been around long. Currently, he's the number 1 guy on RAW too.

Obviously Kofi has all the talent in the world but I think it seems kinda rushed. Its a great way to showcase him on Raw but I think better build to him winning is always a better option.

It's nice what WWE is doing. Before the draft, they seemed to become predictable and scale. With all these new developments and such it made the WWE much more interesting. Now we're faced with matches we won't know the outcome to. It's great! ^_^

I can't wait for tonight to see what develops between Kofi and Y2J.
