I have a hamster named Hamlet. I bought him last weekend with my boyfriend and he's adorable. He's only six weeks old and already full of character.

Pets that have been mine specifically?

Well I had tons of hamsters when I was young. I can't even remember how many exactly. That's kind of saddening, I know.

I also had a few goldfish.

When I was in 5th grade I "adopted" a cockatiel from the school. lol I still have him, and in the summer of 9th grade I got a guinea pig from school as well. The guinea pig my teacher had gave birth to baby guinea pigs, and OMG they were so adorable and tiny... and yeah. I fell in love. XD I ended up with one of the babies, and she is still alive even though she's 4 or so years old now.

I also had a budgie for a while, but he kind of went into my sister's care, when she moved out he was a family pet, and unfortunately he died earlier this year. I don't think he lived as long as he should have.

Ok, I've made a long enough post already so I'll do my list now and shut up. XD

Let's see, when I lived at my parents we had a dog (Black lab first, then German Shepherd, both had to be put down), cat (put down due to age & illnesses), bird (love birds that died, now a cockatiel), and fish. We also had a snake when I was very young. When I was 13 I got a few rabbits, all of which eventually died or I had to give away. =( Then in 2004 I adopted a kitten from a local animal shelter and got a turtle the following year. I still have the cat and I ended up giving the turtle away to a loving family. Last May I got 2 hamsters as a birthday gift, one died this past April, and the other is still alive and kicking. She loves her wheel, while the hamster that passed away was a marshmallow and just slept and ate, and did nothing else. Lol.
