It seem that you do buy into good/evil stuff with a different spin to it, it is the same good choices=Good. Bad choices=evil, evil=lack of good/imperfect/corruptible.

I think you are right, I think that people are inherently good and that they are attracted to what is good, the problem seems to be that humans are limited in their wisdom due to the fact that we are physical bodies, thus corruptible, not supremely good as our creator.

That is exactly it, this is what vices are, but humans as rational being and can develop virtues and train themselves to repeat good thinking and reject bad ones, because we are limited we must seek the highest moral authority “God” goodness Himself.

Shades of grey folks, shades of grey. People aren't completely "good" or "evil". Even the best people have done bad things, and even the worst people have done good things. Some people are definitely closer to one end of the spectrum than the other... But the world has no inherent "goodness" or "evilness" there are only people's choices.

I think that its not so simple as good or bad, because that implies moral or immoral. i think the world is full of pain and that can motivate people to be immoral and hurt others. honestly, no one can prevent disease, things like cancer can happen even without stimuli, death will always cause grief, and some things we just can't stop. This world is imperfect and I believe that it causes people to be bad. Or maybe people made the world imperfect and it causes people to be bad. Either way I believe that people are generally good with a capacity for evil that is actualized by the world.

In nearly all circumstances, people are corrupted by their environment, which is like it is due to the nature of the human condition.
This excludes people who are evil due to mental issues or dispositions that are genetic.

The world is neither inherently good nor evil. People become what they are based on the genes that are activated by their experiences.

I believe that people are bad. Not everyone is equally bad, and they can be taught be good, but we're born bad.

The "bad" people are lazy (Sloth) and rather take the simple path of doing bad things rather then man-ing up and taking the better path.

Some of the bad people are too lazy to be better, but some actually enjoy being bad.

I'm considering the unitarian view (I'm not well-versed about it though). Basically it says, there is no "good", nor "bad" - they're just labels from a dichotomous point of view.
|
Yes, they're labels from a dichotomous point of view, but that doesn't make them any less accurate. Surely, something makes us different from someone like Hitler.

uh you guys should check out joseph cambell the mythologist (if thats even a term) he talks about how there is no absolute

I hope he's not saying there's no absolutes at all. Because that's an absolute statement...

What about the people who aren't slipping up; it's deliberate? Someone does something despicable, and knows it's wrong, and loves it?

Again, what about someone who does evil just for the sake of doing evil?
Also, what about the fact that we have to teach kids what's right and what's wrong?

So, in other words, it's a vicious cycle of ever increasing corruption. But where did it start? The bad environment corrupting us, or us creating the bad environment?

Good and evil are artificial constructs, invented to define the extremes of what pleases/displeases us personally. In the universal picture, there is no right and no wrong. Things just are.

If you want to play chicken and egg till the cows come home, by all means do.
The human condition, if you want a formal definition, is the flaws that emerge from existing in a world with finite resources.
