Thanks nanner yea it runs in my fathers side of the family.I always thought i was to young for it to. but i guess not they are saying its from my high blood pressure and a blockage they are wanting to do stints .I have two blocks to the old ticker ,But i keep telling myself to let them do it ,But on the other hand kinda scared to ,I lost my left lung 3 yrs ago to chemicals 6 months in the hospital and cut from shoulder blade to shoulder blade im still kicking but wondering how much longer.

so far the meds are working

Strokes are strange things. When my mother had a stroke, they told her that she actually had several mini strokes over the years and didn't know it.
She used to always get tingly hands and I guess that was a sign of it.

I never realized before that, you could have mini strokes and not know it.

High BP runs in my family, along with excess weight. My dad has been dealing with it since I was 13 (35 now). you taking BP meds?

Thanks Ladys .Yes i am on BP meds ,blood thinners and all kids of drugs .I feel like a drug store with all these meds,Yea i had the tingly hands and all. Its no fun they say i have had several Tia's as they call them {i thought they were brain farts} But all in all i will get better hell i have to .They say only the good die young .So i know i will live forever. No pun intended just trying to stay in good spirits

Good been looking for this thread and forgot where it was. I found it :) Wanted to check back on your answer. So if you had the stints put in is that suppose to help the TIA's and get you off some of the meds? I know it's scary stuff but might be worth it?????

Have had enough surgeries in my life to know how scary they are (although not for anything as serious as this.....except the false cancer scare surgery.....that was pretty rough)
Do you think it would help if I adopted you? Then you wouldn't have the family history thingy
