Nice with that info but just because DailyKos says it doesn't make it true anymore than the people claiming Obama is a radical anti-American muslim.

My first question is what do these questions have to do with ethics and morals. My second question is have you read the survey and understand where is comes from? And my third is why would you group all Republicans together like that?

1. Because the Republican Party is supposedly about ethics and morality and yet that type of **** gets out.

2. I understand where it comes from. I don't believe that source right away.

3. I was being sadistic.

And for the record the amount of people who do think that Obama's a Muslim anti-american racist are part of the reason why their respective party(ies) are a joke.

To me, this just reaffirms two of my personal beliefs;
  1. Many humans are stupid
  2. Contrary to some peoples' opinion, Republicans are human

Both parties claim to be about ethics and morality. And both screw it up royally.

But here's the thing. Even if Republicans were the only ones to claim ethical/moral superiority, the fact that some Republicans hold to immoral stances doesn't matter. Because the thing with any political party (especially in our 2 party system), is that people's beliefs rarely line up completely with the party line.

A person could be a Republican because they support gun rights, small government, and being "tough on crime". Morality doesn't even enter the equation.

Of course there quite panicked and shrill anti-Bush people, who claimed Bush would start wars of agression, condone torture, have the CIA kidnap people to secret prisons in East Europe, or to hand them over to Syrian torturers, try to set up a surveillance state...

...oh, wait, he DID do all those things! Thats the difference. What has Obama done so far? Actually, thats the main thing he can be criticiszed for, that he has done absolutely nothing so far.

He's being criticized because he's done nothing? Spending more than any other president in history is doing nothing? Increasing our debt into the trillions is doing nothing? Attempting to overhaul or medical care system is doing nothing?

I say that 'cause they are supposedly the very religioius party as well. They emphasize Christianity a lot.

Research 2000, looks like they polled 2000 people or less. Or may be the Republican popularity has shrunk to that number?

The "journalist" (and I use that term loosely) that published this is writing a book, a book about how bad conservatism is and how great liberals are. He's using these "scientific findings" to push his "book".
