Kind of like when they bring back Batista vs Undertaker. They had some great fights in the past.
I think this will be the final match between Taker and Edge as well...for now. I hope its a good blowoff and as huge an Edge fan I am I hope Undertaker comes out on top.

Agreed. Edge has been on my favorites list since his debut (was it 1998? 10 years already?! damn!), but I can't go against Taker during his title run unless it would somehow be Randy Orton taking his title, lol.

I don't remember the specific match, I may not have caught it. But I did see him when he was brand new, and his whole style and mystique captured me. The way he ran through the crowd, his music, his look, his wrestling were all awesome. He still rules.
I know it may sound insane, but I really would like him to be a face again. He's got great humor when he is one...or even if he was more mysterious and serious, as with his debut, it would still be awesome.

I think that if he will go face anytime soon, the next few months would be a decent opportunity. He has been a major heel, but you're right about the separation with Vicki being a good scenario. Chances are Taker will keep the title and feud with others; since Edge wouldn't be competing for the title for a while, this could be his chance to go face and be in some headlining feuds. I doubt it will happen, though.

I agree this will be a good time to pull the trigger on it if they want to do so. The Undertaker will need a new face to feud with. Big Show? Umaga? And Edge will need to go a different direction. Maybe a feud with Chavo or something will be good.
