Guitar Hero

Hey, What are your general thoughts on Guitar Hero for PS2, and anyone know when guitar hero 2 comes out?

I forget when GH2 comes out, but I have is pre-ordered. I've had the first since it came out, and just recently beat Cowboys from Hell on Expert. It's fun for awhile, but I would rather plug in my own guitar or bass and play the real thing.

GH2 is scheduled for release November 7, 2006.

As for Guitar Hero... it's awesome. My roommate and I played it once at the local Wal-Mart and bought it right away.

But I still stink like a KFC dumpster at it.

It takes time and practice to get good at, just like anything else. I think it would have been better with more buttons, and a free play mode. Adjust a pedal settings, and start playing. I still love it though.

My only experience with the game has been at my local best buy, but I must say, it is a magnificently done game. If it weren't for the fact that I'm a college student (read: poor) I would definately own it.
