One big problem i see with this is the fact that they are going to make it connect to Amazon music store rather than itunes I mean let's face it, tons of people use itunes and even though itunes is the competition it'd still be a good idea to make itunes accessible.

one big plus is that google is allowing anybody to make apps for them while apple will block any apps that compete with them.

it will sell for $179 (that's $20 cheaper than the cheapest iPhone)


What does everyone else think?

I still don't see any point in using a phone to store music. I use my phone to call people. I have an iPod for music. No need to buy an iPhone OR a Google Phone. I just don't see myself ever getting a phone that expensive.

Well now see I make it a point to buy a phone that can store and play music no matter how big or small it might be because I don't WANT to have to buy something else like an ipod, which I can't stand apple, to use just for music. So when I go to the gym I just have my phone that I use for my music instead of having a phone and an mp3 player or whatever to play the music. It's stupid to have more than one device when you can get one to do it all. The phone I have is just under a Blackberry and the next one I get which will be shortly is going to be a blackberry and/or a Palm Centro so I can have the full QWERTY keyboard as well as a bigger SD card to store music on.

Oh and actually T-Mobile is the one who will be selling this phone.

I haven't ever heard of Amazon music store. So I'd MUCH rather have an iPhone.
Though I'd rather have my iPod and phone seperate than having an iPhone.

I actually don't use iTunes, never have and never will. I buy singles off of Amazon every now and then but that's not where I get my full CDs from.
