this is not a tordament report just my feeling about the jump

this jump was goin to define the meta for six months

everyone thought stien was goin to be a problem but the winner wasnt running it

John Jensen Got Knocked Off his High Horse by a person who was consider the underdog

BTA is finially a reconized team
Lavoid Team Got to the Top 4
I Got a Top 8 Mat (yes i worked for it)
I traded a Nimble for a Magic Arm Shield TP8
Most of the team did great in the regoinals and SJC

but alot of bad crap happend

I heard a romor thet some one i know tried to steal one of the top 8 players bookbag and got caught and might be banned from UDE

my friend got his suitcase stolen and he could have lost his ipod but luckly i grabed it first

my team captain got his deck stolen (any help with cards would be great)

some guy got his chimeratech stolen

Me and my team captain were almost stranded in boston

so it was an okay trip but it could have been better

i feel sorry for all the people that got robbed

it just a card game people

That sucks. See Lavoid, this is why it ruins games like this when people start to see it only as a dollar value. People start lying, cheating and stealing.

Jokes aside, I'm really sorry about all of the trouble you had. I'm glad your group is now officially recognized.

Now my next day Regionals report.

Mind you, my deck got stolen the night before and Im going in with a jank deck that me and Keashia made in 3 minutes

Round 1 Me v.s. Guy who misplays rush recklessly

Game 1: I am running Bazoo Return in the mainboard and quite frankly...I hated the build because I think Bazoo stinks...I lose this game due to Stien

Game 2: I side into Banishers and a morphing jar and put some saku's in my deck. The change of pace really confused my opponent. I made his hydrogeddons useless and my Zaborgs basically run through this match. I win this game

Game 3: He spends like 5 minutes sidedecking.....Into a Stien OTK! However, he misplays his stien. He didnt play trunade first and I torrentialed him and left him with like 2000 lifepoints left. He has a facedown...I get frog from the grave and sac for Mobius for game.

Round 2 Me v.s. Burn

Ok....I lose game one here. You will notice this becoming a trend in this regionals....God that mainboard sucked.

Game 2 is simple enough because she didnt draw any of her burn cards. I gain massive field presence and Morphing Jar and Banisher of the radience is BROKEN! Game 2 is easily won

Game 3...I took about 2 minutes to side trying to find a way to beat burn....I was thinking and then I saw the hand of Nephitys and the Phoneix we put in the side deck..(remember....made the deck in 3 minutes) Phoenix shut this deck down like it was nothing...I win

Round 3 Me. vs Jason

Now I lost to him in the jump so I knew he was running a fiend deck...

Game 1...HOLY CRAP I ACTUALLY WON THIS!!! Bazoo owned Ha-Des late game and return won the game for me.

Game 2...I side into banishers because he was running Necrofear and I ended up removing his Necrofear in the first turn with Banisher and Confiscation...He couldnt gain any tempo from there and I take it.

Round 4: Me v.s Eric.

Now I play him all the time in Neutral. He's a great player. It sucks his suitcase got stolen.

Game 1: He ran through my deck...He drew an amazing hand....Graceful and Confiscation and POA in mid game is sick!!

Game 2: I side to banishers and win easily thanks to my removal power

Game 3: He used Stien however he made a miscalculation in the lifepoints and left me with 300....I drew...I had ring in hand and he had 2400 left. I set it and end and on his draw phase i play it and blow up his cyber twin for the draw.

Game 4: I drew a horrible hand but I was able to get Phoenix off. However it only held him off for a few turns....Frog really hurts phoenix and he used Zaborg to get phoenix off the field so he could atk me and ring me for game....

3-1 That was so hard fought

Round 5: Me v.s. Someone who netdecked Bobby Chambers!!

Wow holy crap...Someone net decked my friend in 1 day! Thats so wierd.

Game 1: He RUNS THROUGH ME WITH EXILED AND ZABORGS! It was scary as hell! I was beat 8000-0

Game 2...I side into Phoenix and I use all of his monster destruction affects against him and I win

Game 3....I side to banishers and morphing jar and I force him to remove treeborn off of Confiscation for the win.

Round 6: Me V.S. Rat Control

Wow I hate my mainboard for this deck....It did nothing and it was too slow to combat this decks swapability and the tutors searched out lily for direct atks and I was finished off pretty quickly.....the only lifepoints he took were off his pumping lily up

Game 2: I side into banishers and I just own his tutors. He was too swap reliant and I exposed it. I win this pretty easily

Game 3: He sides to Stien OTK I add Morphing Jar into the deck in place of one of the dekotchis....I was able too pull off morphing jar with Banisher on the field and I removed his last will, his 2 trunades and 2 stiens from play....It was easy after that.

Round 7: Me v.s. LUCKSACKING CHEATER!

I won this due to his outright disrespect during the duel and his obvious marking of the cards...He also obviously stacked everytime he shuffled. I ended up calling the judge 3 times and this fool ended up getting a Match Loss and a DQ from the tournament...I was kind of pissed cause this hurt my tiebreakers but if I won my next round it wouldnt have mattered.

Round 8. Me v.s. Nick Palmero(the eventual winner of the regionals....at least I think he won.)

Game 1...He plays a dedicated Stien OTK with nearly no monster removal???? It was wierd as hell. Well thats what I thought for the first 4 turns untill he gets enough lifepoints off of draining shield and Nimble Momonga to use stien twice....Once for Gatling Dragon to clear my field and once for cyber twin to kill me.

Game 2: He doesnt draw into any of his OTK cards and I just kicked his **** with banishers...

Game 3: I Sided back into Bazoo hoping to get him below 5000 quickly...Which I do...However he was able to get some hits off of me with Ceasefire and Mobius and he ends up Ringing my Zaborg for the draw.

Game 4: He plays stien too early and with too low of lifepoints however I had no other way to counter but ring to his cyber end or else I would have lost. My lifepoints were low due to him using ring and barrel behind the door on my Mobius. I had to ring the cyber end for another draw..

Holy crap its GAME 5!!!

This time....I side into Phoenix hoping for him to use monster destruction on it in order for me to clear his backrow so I dont have to worry about atking him....However I drew my 2 zaborgs and my phoenix in my opening hand with only a bottomless and a saku for protection...Needless to say...I got stien'd to death.

So I went 6-2 and got 18th place..(God damned DQ killing my tiebreakers) I got 6 packs and I pulled 2 ultimate rares but no chimeratech...

Well theres my regionals report...Id write about my jump but its pretty well chronicled on Metagame's scrubbrush challenge...I went 6-4 and got 89th place....All in all I played well on day 2.

kos, your point is very valid. when people are going to regionals and jumps in order to cheat to win or steal because they view the game as profit is sad.

i go to regoinals and tordaments to have fun only time i am serious is when it a SJC cause i am droping mad money to go

Aww now I don't see. In my nice world of Yu-Gi-Oh! where players should be honest there isn't cheating and "stealing". Most if not my entire team feels the same way about cheating to win. It proves nothing. As for stealing to win, that's sad as well.

Damn you missed out on 2 top 8's back to back. I feel your pain. I see your getting better. I can't wait to I come to visit. I'm going to rip you a new one, lol. Seriously though your skill level has grown a lot and that makes me very excited.

I'd like to point out I don't need to steal for profit. The closiest I have ever come to that is finding stuff and selling it. True I should give it back, but if no one is even makes an atempt for it, then what can I say?

yeah that happend to me at the regonials u got 2nd at i found deck boxes like crazy no one cliamed them so i kept then if someone had been lookin for it i would have given it back but they weren't so free cards for me

anyway it sad to steal people need god in they life

stealing and finding cards or even a deck box is different. if you find something and no ones looking for it or you don't hear its being looked for then yeah, free cards. but to go to any tourny with stealing/cheating on your mind is wrong.

i know that my old team steals all the time everyone blamed me for it but i wasnt stealing anything

i dont steal it pointless i rather beat people for cards in a duel or buy and trade for them
