I always thought YuGiOh was a much easier game to play then again, I only tried to play Pokemon when I was about 8, didn't really understand the concept too well, lol. I was better at YuGiOh then I ever was at Pokemon. But eh, stoped playing both now, lol.

Cool, I never got into yugiho at all. I loved pokemon though. It was quite simple to get into and good fun.
I still have all my cards, their all in shiny folders!!

I belive I have most of my cards still but the last time I saw someone with some, they look to have changed a lot in design, did that change the way the game is played?

i actually really liked pokemon for a while, but then yugioh came out and i liked it way better that pokemon. but my parents diddnt like how yugioh seemed to be "evil and dark", so they took all my cards away. i was very angry for a while, but then i discovered the internet. i was fine after that.

No not really. I stopped collecting once they brought out the trainer pokemon.
I think they over did it in relation to the amound of different sets to collect.

Yes, YuGiOh went the same way in a fashion though, not with the same card but diffrent style, I mean they just kept adding new sets with more and more powerful monsters and magic cards, thats one reason why I quit playing, too overwhelming with cards.

Yu-gi-oh. Only good part of that series were the cards themselves. Whenever I played back in primary, I always narrowed down my huge deck to the good cards, rather than using the whole deck. Gave me an advantage, heh. I haven't really played the cards in ages though, I can't even find most of them, lol.
Pokemon cards just seemed like something to promote the franchise. Since neither the original game series or the anime series had cards. Didn't really fancy it as much as yu-gi-oh, especially since no one I knew actually played the game, and only collected them, back in primary.
