I'm that way when it comes to time. I sleep during the day and work at night. The only time I would really be doing anything with that game would be when everything is closed. I wish they'd make an "Accelerate Time" option for impatient people like myself or as you said adjust the time the stores are open.

Though with the chatting as an option I still may get it.

my mom and i have been playing for a week. tried getting friend codes on another board but who knows if they registered us. i think they shouldve made a visit any town with an open gate instead of registering codes.

Nintendo is too paranoid about "Family Friendliness" to do that. What if you go to some poor 8 year old's town and dig holes up his entire town. Then the poor child would be upset and hurt that someone would be so poopie to them. Protect the innocent and punish everyone else because of it.

Yeah, friend codes suck, but what sucks even more is that the auction house only works between your friends list. -_-

So I may go out and buy the game tomorrow myself. All my friends are getting into so I figure, Why not? I think I'll hold off on the WiiSpeak for a while though. Nintendo is notorious for releasing accessories, in this case a not exactly cheap one, and then using them maybe two or three times.

They still make these games? Man i have to say that i played the 1st one and nearly killed myself i was so bored. I would really rather watch paint dry than ever play these games again

my mom was playing sunday night and got a visitor from another time. glad to know the friend codes work. she visited his town too. still wish they didn't make it friend codes only.

YAY!! I'm so getting it now, I used to have the old one for GCN and my mom and I would get into physical fights over it. Now that it's on Wii and we can play together, that's just perfect. hooray for Nintendo, they've done it again!

This game was fun for a month, and then it was incredibly boring. And with this game I have lost most of my faith in Nintendo. They were so incredibly lazy with this game that I just can't stand it anymore. In fact not only where they lazy, but they continue to make stupid decisions, that I just can't understand.

My Wii is only ever active to play GCN games. If it weren't for that backwards compatibility, it would be collecting dust, and lots of it.

I'm still waiting for a true Animal Crossing sequel. One that will actually deliver, and yes it can be done without changing the formula. And Nintendo knows how to do it, they just don't want to. They just want to keep on making us waist money on essentially the same thing.

AC:CF added back the holidays, that was cool... but that was the only real good thing it did in the end. Wasted potential. That's all it is.
