Just read this on the Figure 4 Online site

Quote:
On last night's Smackdown in the U.K., the C.M. Punk promo where he introduced Festus was cut because it violated U.K. advertising laws because of the plugging of the Jeff Hardy DVD during the segment. To make up for the lost time, they aired the Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho match twice.

Bit lame if you ask me however they did not show the Undertaker match twice so whoever said they did is a liar.

Lol....poor UK viewers.

Well at least you guys got to watch the full show, I went sleep throughout the remainder of it, due to the heat down under.

I think they're going to make a stable with CM Punk as there leader called Straight Edge, that would be cool.

I am.

I'm definitely happy with the new storyline for 'ol Festus. Like others, I hope this will lead to at least one or two more "followers" for CM Punk. It's a great way for him to continue to build steam. I think it might happen, as he said something along the lines of "this is just the beginning."

IF CM Punk does have a group of his own, I can imagine them having a feud with none other than DX!

What do you think?

Doubtful. I say that because they are on two separate brands right now. The only situation in which I could see this being possible is if DX wins the Unified Tag Titles and then Gallos and Punk face them via that route.

Since when did the brands stop anyone?

It's not even exclusive anymore, everyone is everywhere so it could happen.

I disagree...its very exclusive outside of the 3 hour specials on RAW. Bragging Rights and Survivor Series are different breeds because they are built for brand vs brand encounters.

And I guess when ECW has a random Smackdown guy on the Abraham Washington show.

Hmmmm...come to think of it, you're right.

It's only on some occasions that you'd see someone else on another show....

I don't think this applies to Jerishow does it?

No it doesn't. The unified tag team champions can appear on whatever show that they choose too.

Its one of the reasons I wouldnt give the straps to DX because I dont see Shawn Michaels going off RAW too much.

Good point.

So, I think we're all clear on Jerishow to retain the titles perhaps? lol
