Apparently, the cash flow (c wat i did thar!!) for Vickie wasn't that swell:

The word going around the WWE locker room is that Vickie Guerrero was only being paid $500 per appearance, and on top of that she had to cover her own hotel expenses. There are some wrestlers who are understandably fired up over the rumor, feeling that the company could have done more to take care of the now-former RAW and SmackDown general manager. Although, it is worth noting that WWE paid for Eddie Guerrero's funeral, and friends suspect they did more to help out the family. So while the $500 per appearance rate looks horrible on the surface, the company may have quietly done more for Vickie and her children than the locker room is aware of.

True or not? Let's assume it is.
Now, there are two ways (possibly more. Fill me in!) to look at this:
1) $500 per appearance isn't bad. If you think about it there are a lot of professions out that that don't pay nearly that much, AND those professions are usually crappy minimum wage jobs that require much, much more labor.
Also, WWE didn't need to pay for Eddie's funeral. Would YOUR boss pay for your funeral? It would be nice, but we live in a cold world where our bosses say "get life insurance..." and that's that. Cruel, though true.
2) $500 per appearance? WHAT THE MALUCK? Compared to the wrestlers (stars and jobbers alike), commentators and crew, that $500 is nothing compared to what they're getting. Besides, WWE is raking in a lot of dough and can't cut off a little more for Vickie? She has kids, lost her husband AND gets verbally abused because of her appearance and/or acting.
There is that also the sympathetic factor where you might assume that she would get paid more for losing her husband with the company.
What are your thoughts on this?
