i've been playing this game pretty much since it came out. Gears 1 pwns it. Chainsaw is gay, abusable and anyone who can hold down B can be a beast. Shotgun is schizophrenic and only likes to work when it wants. Weapons swaps breaks up everything too much and won't allow strategies to develop. first 5? wtf?! i miss the 2 hours matches in gears, with first to 19. matchmaking blows, and i hate the integration of player and ranked matches. over allll though, i like it. its fun. but i wont get as addicted to it as i was to gears 1. Well the other night while I was "somewhat" intoxicated, I tried out Gears of War 2 for the first time. It was a very good game in my opinion. The end of the game was very hard in my opinion when you were on those things that flew and you had to shoot those big things floating around you because every time I'd get to the one side to shoot it, it ended up getting to the other side because of my slowed reactions, haha.

very very similar to GOW 1 - slightly disappointing but all round a strong and enjoyable game - worth the money!
